Central Library (SMSKLG College)
SMS Khalsa Labana Girls college has a well stocked, fully computerized library. It has more than 15600 books on different disciplines. Besides these books, the college library is subscribing more than 18 periodicals and journals on current affairs and general interests and 11 newspapers to keep the students knowledge up- to- date.
In addition to that our library has unique E-Resource Centre. In this centre we are providing access of more than 6000 online journals and more than 33 lakhs titles electronic books under UGC’s N-List program.
In addition to normal library facilities, the college provides Book Bank facility to needy students for whole semester.
Library system is fully automated using Web Lib 4.5 library management software. Our library also provides the Web OPAC facility. With the help of this user can search the location of the books. It is very useful for them to find the books in minimum time.
Library provides open access to all its members. With the use of this facility both the students and staff can directly access the required books from the shelves and borrow them from the circulation desk for home. Library also provides the reprographic service to the users.
